What is the Gender Mainstreaming? Why is it important? And how is it implemented?

This presentation gives an overview of the concept of gender mainstreaming, its objectives and the conditions required to implement it. It also presents instruments for institutionalising gender.


The presentation was produced in connection with the EMHRN GA in Madrid and identifies challenges for the EMHRN in connection with gender mainstreaming.
