The following items were on the meeting’s agenda:
- Discussion and decisions re the WG mandate, challenges and action plan;
- Exchange on the development of the WG activities related to youth,
- Discussion on the informal youth network,
- Evaluation of the 2007 Summer School and Recommendations for future summer schools,
- Discussion and recommendations on the “Resources Book» terms of references,
- Presentation of a HRE methodology linked to torture and HR directed to youth in Israel;
- Presentation of HRE programs and activities undertaken by Turkish Human rights organisations and research centres (Human rights Association, Human Rights Agenda Association, Amnesty international, Bilgi University, IHOP platform and Community volunteers Foundation) and exchange of working methods.
The WG members decided the hold of the 2008 summer school in Turkey in partnership with the mentioned NGOs.
